Habitat for Humanity

Welcome graphic

We all want to enjoy the comfort of being able to have a residence to live. We also want to know that those we love will have a comfortable place to live. Where would you or someone you love turn to in the event something happened?

Our Mission

Providing affordable housing for those who are impoverished or those displaced by an unfortunate natural disaster is the main goal of Habitat for Humanity.  Through the hard work of volunteers, like you, we have helped build over 200,000 homes since 1976.

Over 1,000,000 people have been housed through the contributions of others, and also through the work that our volunteers put in.  Habitat for Humanity is not a hand-out program.  Future homeowners must have a down payment, make monthly payments, and also invest hundreds of their own hours - sweat equity, to make their dream of home ownership possible.

To anyone who wishes to make a difference in a stranger's, or loved one's, life, please feel free to attend one of our free introductory workshops.  Monetary donations are also accepted.  Again, the workshops are free, and all information to get you started will be provided.  Times for the workshops are provided below.
